10 P.M. ALL RIGHT. GOOD MORNING, EVERYBODY. AND HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU AS WELL. WE ARE LOOKING AT SOME MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES. I DO HAVE A COUPLE OF SHOWERS THOUGH. STARTING TO MAKE ITS WAY IN, BUT A LOT OF THESE NOT GOING TO LAST VERY LONG AND NOT ALL DAY. HERE’S WHAT’S HAPPENING FOR US. MAJORITY OF US STILL ON THE DRY SIDE, A LOT OF THE HEAVIER RAIN THOUGH, JUST GOING TO BE ON AND OFF TO OUR NORTH EAST. NOW. HERE’S WHERE I WAS LOOKING AT SOME RAIN. LAPLACE. YOU DID HAVE SOME. THAT’S NOW OFF IN TO THE OTHER SIDE THOUGH. GOING ON THE NORTH SHORE, YOU’RE LOOKING AT FRANKLINTON. YOU’RE SEEING SOME RAIN. STONY POINT SEEING SOME LIGHT SHOWERS, BUT A LOT OF THIS THOUGH CLIFTON HAS FADED OUT, WAS A LITTLE HEAVIER. NOW THAT IS NO LONGER THE CASE. SO UP NEXT, PINE SHERIDAN, YOU GUYS WILL ALL BE SEEING SOME LIGHT SHOWERS HEADING FOR YOU. SO THIS IS WHAT’S HAPPENING AS WE GO THROUGHOUT THE REST OF THE MORNING HERE. 7 A.M. MORE THE NORTH SHORE. WE’LL START TO SEE SOME RAIN AND THEN AS WE GET TO 9:10 A.M., WE’LL START TO SEE THAT ON THE SOUTH SHORE. A LOT OF THIS, THOUGH, GOING TO BE ISOLATED. SOME OF THIS GOING TO BE MOVING VERY QUICKLY AS WELL. HERE’S 10 A.M. YOU’RE SEEING A LOT OF US HAVE ALREADY STARTED TO SEE THAT CLEARING. BUT ALONG THE COASTAL AREAS, THOUGH, THAT’S WHERE A LOT OF THAT RAIN WILL REMAIN, ESPECIALLY AS WE GET INTO THE AFTERNOON. BUT FOR EVERYBODY ELSE THOUGH, YOU’RE JUST GOING TO LAFITTE GRAND ISLE BOOTHVILLE ALL GOING TO BE SEEING SOME RAIN LATER ON. HERE’S THE UPDATED SEVERE WEATHER THREAT. NOW MAJORITY OF US ARE PRETTY MUCH OUT OF THIS. WE’RE STILL LOOKING AT PORTIONS OF PLAQUEMINES PARISH, THOUGH. UNDER THAT SEVERE THREAT. AND BASICALLY YOUR THREAT IS GOING TO BE SOME STRONG WINDS. AS WE ARE LOOKING AT SOME WINDY CONDITIONS AS WE HEAD THROUGHOUT THE REST OF THE DAY. TURKEY DAY RACE, THOUGH, THERE’S A LOT OF EVENTS HAPPENING TODAY. I EXPECT LIGHT CHANCES, RAIN FREE, SMALL CHANCES FOR RAIN. IF YOU DO GET A SHOWER OVER, YOU LIKELY GOING TO LAST FOR A SECOND AND THEN IT WILL MOVE ON OFF. SO LOOKING AT SOME 60S AND NOTICE OUR TEMPERATURES, THEY WILL BE FALLING THROUGHOUT THE DAY. HORSE RACING. IF YOU’RE INTO THAT, LOOKING AT SOME 60S FOR YOU AND THEN EVENTUALLY LOOKING AT THE MID 60S, BY THE TIME MOST OF THAT DOES START TO WRAP UP SOME OF THE RACES AND THEN AS FAR AS THE BAYOU CLASSIC THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE, IF YOU ARE GETTING THERE EARLY, TRY TO FIND A SPOT 1:00 PM LOOKING AT SOME MOSTLY CLOUDY CONDITIONS, AND THEN BY THE TIME IT STARTS NOT LOOKING TOO BAD FOR YOU. MOSTLY CLOUDY AND BREEZY. IT WILL FEEL A LITTLE COOLER AS WELL. AND THEN SOMETHING ELSE HAPPENING FOR US. MEMPHIS AT TULANE TONIGHT STARTING AT 630. LOOKING AT THOSE TEMPERATURES INTO THE 60S. BUT AS THE GAME PROGRESSES, LOOKING AT THE 50S AFTER THAT. SO OVERALL EXPECTING MOST OF THAT RAIN TO BE DONE FOR US AS WE ARE GETTING LATER INTO THE DAY WINDS, THIS WILL BE A FACTOR FOR US. HERE’S YOUR FUTURE WIND GUSTS AS YOU HEAD THROUGHOUT THE REST OF THE DAY, EXPECTING THEM TO BE UP TO ABOUT 20MPH, 25 A LITTLE BIT MORE ALONG THE COASTAL AREAS AS WELL. SO COOLER, WINDY TO HIGHS. PRETTY MUCH. WE’RE ALREADY INTO THE HIGHS RIGHT NOW, JUST GOING TO GET COOLER AS WE HEAD THROUGHOUT THE REST OF THE DAY.
